And the winner is.....

Mailleissa.  Mailleinda has been forced into early retirement.  I've been using my new mannequin for a few weeks now and I love her!  She's much better looking than Mailleinda and I didn't have to butcher her hair.  Hope you all like her.

mannequins, models, and ebay

 I've been toying around with the idea of hiring a model for a professional photography shoot for quite a while.  Unfortunately, I can't afford the fees.  It's difficult to get across the image of how an item will look on the wearer when it's a static picture.  This is especially true for necklaces.  I finally decided to try using a mannequin.  It's been an adventure.  Ebay has a huge selection of gorgeous mannequins, and I finally selected what I felt was the "right" one.  My husband said I was putting way to much though

Why are you closing so early??

I often hear the question "Why are you closing so early?" while at art fairs.  A lot of customers wonder why the art fair shuts down so early when there is still lots of day light out.

Migrating to a new website

Here we go again.  I've decided to switch to a new web host.  My old host, weebly.com, was great but I wanted the ability to add more pictures to my item descriptions.  It's still a work in progress, but I'm hoping to have everything ready to go by September.  Let me know what you think.
